Madiba: Guard of Honour

It has been a historic week for our country. The father of our nation, Nelson Mandela, has passed away and South Africans from all walks of life have seized the opportunity to celebrate his remarkable life. Marike and a few colleagues and friends lined up along Madiba Street in Pretoria to join the guard of honour as his body was taken to the Union Buildings. It was a great honour to be part of this historic event.

A very nice collection of photos to catch the mood of the people and the love and admiration for Madiba. Tata Madiba – may we all strive to make our beautiful country a peaceful haven for all and let the rainbow nation live on as a tribute to his dream!
